Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Youth Talents (“we”) collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of the Youth Talents app and the youthtalents.gr website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller is the sole proprietorship “SKRIVANOU PARASKEVI TOU ARISTEIDI”, trading as “YOUTH TALENTS”, VAT number 148872088, GEMI number 196802303000, with its registered office in Voula, Attica, Greece.
For any matter concerning your personal data, contact us at youthtalentapp@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
Depending on how you use the app or the website, we may process:
- Account and athlete profile details: full name, age, position, stronger foot, height, team, an optional profile photo, as well as videos and photos you upload.
- Parent or guardian details: the parent/guardian's email, when the athlete is under 18.
- Ratings and comments: evaluations and comments that coaches add about your playing profile.
- Contact details: name, email, role and message, when you write to us through the contact form.
- Usage data: technical and browsing data through cookies on the website, for statistics and marketing only with your consent.
3. Minors
For athletes under 18, the creation of a profile is completed only after the parent or guardian has been informed and has given their consent, through a link sent to the email provided. The parent or guardian may request access to, correction or deletion of the minor's data at any time.
On the website we publish athletes' details or photos only with the written consent of the athlete and, if they are a minor, of their parent or guardian.
4. Purposes and legal basis
- Creating and operating your account and profile, and showing it to scouts and coaches within the platform — performance of a contract and, for minors, the consent of the parent or guardian (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
- Replying to messages and to support or collaboration requests — performance of a contract or legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Security, prevention of abuse and improvement of the app — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Traffic statistics (Google Analytics 4) and showing relevant ads (Meta Pixel) — only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Publishing athletes on the website — consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
5. Cookies & third-party tools
The website uses cookies. Necessary cookies always load; statistics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) load only if you give your consent through the cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Other users of the platform: scouts and coaches can see athletes' profiles and videos, as described in the app.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf: Pointer (website hosting and domain registration), Google (email service for receiving contact messages) and — only with your consent — Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel).
- Public or judicial authorities, when required by law.
Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place with the appropriate safeguards of the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
We keep data only for as long as needed for the purposes stated above:
- Account and profile: for as long as you keep an account. After it is deleted, the data is erased without undue delay and at the latest within one (1) month, except for data that must be retained by law.
- Contact messages: for as long as needed to answer your request and, afterwards, for up to 24 months.
- Cookies and statistics data: according to the retention periods of the respective tools. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to us at youthtalentapp@gmail.com. We will reply within one (1) month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
To delete your account, see the page Account Deletion
9. Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access limited to authorised persons only. No system is completely secure; in the event of a breach that puts your rights at risk, we will inform you and the competent Authority as required by law.
10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
